This year, General Electric filed a 57,000-PAGE tax return.  They filed electronically, but if you printed it all out, it would be 19 FEET HIGH.

And thanks to all the loopholes they found, and all the deductions they claimed, GE paid NO TAX on $14 BILLION in profits.  ZERO tax.

How is that possible?  Well, $9 BILLION of their profits were overseas, which isn't under U.S. tax law.  As for the profit they made here, the taxes were wiped out by everything from tax breaks for investments in green energy, to depreciation of property. I believe in making as much money as you want...but damn this is ridiculous!
