According to The Journal News, original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is being accused by a bank of not having paid the mortgage on his home 35 miles from New York City for almost two years. The bank filed a mortgage foreclosure case against Ace on February 15, asking the court to order a sale of the three bedrooms, three bathroom home to pay for the outstanding principal of nearly $704,000 plus interest, late charges and other expenses.

Frehley performed with KISS from its inception in 1973 until his first departure in 1982 before rejoining KISS in 1996 for a very successful reunion tour, where he stayed until 2002, when he left went back to become a solo artist again. One can assume that Ace will now try to make his way back into KISS and straighten this entire mess out by releasing more KISS action figures, KISS musical toothbrushes, KISS coffins, and KISS Pez dispensers to raise some quick loot.

 Even though I'm sure he's not laughing now, the Space Ace was SURE having a ball during the 1979 interview. HILARIOUS stuff!
