Corey's into MUSIC, playing Bass and Guitar (poorly), crappy Glam/Sleaze Metal, crappy old TV, collecting and restoring vintage arcade games, trips to Hollywood, dark import beers, Cleveland Browns and hanging out with his wife and young son.
A change of scenery is in the cards for the Red Hot Chili Peppers this fall. Drummer Chad Smith tells "Billboard" the band intends to make the switch from the road to the studio in September.
He says they've had "little ideas percolating" throughout their extensive tour behind 2011's I'm With You, but now they're looking at the fall to begin the real writing process for their next album.
In the meantime, Smith and the rest of the Peppers still have a few gigs on the books this summer. They're set to play Metallica's Orion Music + More and the Firefly festival next month, as well as the Outside Lands fest in August.
