With Paul McCartney being one of the highly anticipated acts at the iheartradio Music Festival in Vegas, we thought we'd use his musical career as part of our TOPIC OF THE DAY:

A new study (you know how I love the studies) says that the average worker gets angry TWO times at least each day.
TOP THINGS that make us angry in the workplace are:
(1) People taking credit for our work
(2) Computer on the fritz slowing our workflow
(3) Rude clients
(4) Arguments over coffee making duties
(5) Anger over being so loaded down, we have no time for lunch.

For a special promotion centered around her line of specialty candies, Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova applied to the state of Florida to temporarily change her name to "Maria Sugarpova" to insure that TV announcers would use her temporary name and promote her candy while she was playing tennis! Recently an on-line study addressed how people in families that were dysfunctional while growing up, never realized it until they were older.
While in the midst of the "odd & unusual", most people thought their families were completely normal.
Some comments from the survey:
"Every year, my family would get a cake with candles and sing Happy Birthday JESUS"!
"We would all hold one nostril close and blow our nose in the kitchen sink"
"It was an everyday ocurrence to walk around totally naked in our house"
THE TOPIC OF THE DAY: "What odd things did you think were normal when you were growing up?"

I was always a morning person! It took many years for that to evolve and now it's a 5am tradition. Alarm sounds.....Jack hits the floor, coffee, TV, shower...etc!
Now, experts say you don't need COFFEE! to wake up in the morning! WHAT?
Some ways THEY say to do it without CAFFEINE:
Hit The floor immediately when the alarm sounds!
Bed is for cleeping and sex, don't use it for TV watching, eating or reading!
Put your alarm across the room, so you HAVE to get up to shut it off!
Cold Shower immediately after waking!
Here are some other ways to wake up ANYTIME! ENJOY
Careerbuilder.com recently asked employers what some of the stunts that perspective candidates DID that actually got their attention and landed the job!
The TOPIC OF THE DAY: "What outrageous thing have you done to get an interview or a job and did it work" Comment on our FACEBOOK page right now.
Positives were: Someone who posted their resume' bullet points on a billboard right outside the company, A guy who "demonstrated" the company's copier during the interview to be a salesman.
Negatives were: The person who sent a box with a "shoe" inside so he could "Get His Foot In The Door", and someone who did a backflip into the room.
Other things NOT to do: Enjoy the video below
